"My superpower is having anxiety that makes me a beast on the soccer field and in the courtroom and functional OCD, so I am detail oriented and find all of my opponent's mistakes to show them perfection is not possible. However, I prefer to meet on amicable ground and try to work towards a common solution because in the end, we're all on the same side."
Aloha! My name is Cici. I graduated from Waipahu High School, but I don't think where I went to school is important. Like most of you, my family and friends are important to me. I love dancing the hula, playing the ukulele, singing, having good food, and helping my family and friends be happy and healthy. Wellness is important to me too. I've been working here with Dr. Fukushima since 2020 when Covid started. My favorite part of this work is getting to know each one of you who comes to us for their wellness needs. Nothing makes me happier at this job than helping you feel healthy and reminding you that you're worth it! My superpower is facing traumas that I have dealt with since I was young and using it as a learning lesson to make me stronger and be your cheerleader when you need it most. Come and ask me what trauma I beat this week.
I graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with my nursing degree. I worked at all of the correctional facilities on Oahu for both males and females, as well as Straub, Queen's, nursing homes, and outpatient drug treatment facilities. I have had to fight since I was a kid and am a survivor. As I get older, my battles get tougher and my opponents get bigger. But I never go down without a fight. Come watch me play soccer or in the courtroom and see that my 5 foot stature doesn't mean I back away from anyone physically bigger than me because I have been through wars before. My superpower is my functional OCD that helps me stay on top of my filings, orders and deadlines, and my anxiety that allows me to play soccer against men and women half my age and still be a force.
